Professional blog

I have decided to record my professional experience in a separate blog, to keep this one personal and free-form.

I have started writing some posts there. The more interesting ones will be about my volunteering experience in Udaipur, India. It still may or may not happen (and that's why it is interesting :)).

Can I Have This Dance

I stumbled upon this movie on one weekend. Pretty struck with it, especially the music and dance between Zac and Vanessa. The words are beautiful. I wish to have this dance someday.. when I finally find the one in the million :)

Take my hand, take a breath
Pull me close, take one step
Keep your eyes locked on mine,
And let the music be your guide.

Won't you promise me (now won't you promise me, that you'll never forget)
We'll keep dancing (to keep dancing) wherever we go next

Chorus:
It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
Can I have this dance

**Chorus

Take my hand, I'll take the lead
And every turn will be safe with me
Don't be afraid, afraid to fall
You know I'll catch you threw it all

And you can't keep us apart (even a thousand miles, can't keep us apart)
'Cause my heart is (cause my heart is) wherever you are

**Chorus

Oh no mountains too high enough, oceans too wide
'Cause together or not, our dance won't stop
Let it rain, let it pour
What we have is worth fighting for
You know I believe, that we were meant to be

Sweet Hour of Prayer

I went to church yesterday, and we sang the hymn Sweet Hour of Prayer, by William Walford. It is a song with soft melody and such true words that gave me peace. I am sharing the lyrics here with you:

Sweet hour of prayer, sweet hour of prayer
that calls me from a world of care
and bids me at my Father's throne
Make all my wants and wishes known
in seasons of distress and grief
My soul has often found relief
and oft escaped tempter's snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer

Sweet hour of prayer, sweet hour of prayer
Thy wings shall my petition bear
To him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless
And since he bids me seek his face
believe his Word and trust his grace
I'll cast on him my every care
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer

Luke 12 : 6-7
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
